Structure and Working Principle
1, Hierarchical filtering mechanism
The filter material is laid in layers according to density and particle size (usually anthracite → quartz sand → activated carbon or magnetite from top to bottom). When water flows through from top to bottom:
The upper layer of large particle filter material (such as anthracite) is used for coarse filtration of large suspended solids;
Intermediate quartz sand intercepts medium particles;
The lower layer of fine filter material (such as activated carbon) adsorbs small impurities and organic matter.
2, Backwash regeneration
